A black-tie event is always something to get excited about and this gorgeous wedding, at the beautiful waterside Vanderbilt Museum, was one that really made us swoon.
Mother Nature provided perfect weather for cocktail hour, which took place amongst cobble stones in the beautiful courtyard and featured a delectable raw bar and open bar to welcome guests joining the celebration of this new couple. To highlight the festive summery mood, we used a palette of blue, white, and yellow—with a lemon tree placed on the escort table to set the tone and give a colorful welcome to all guests as they entered the tent to join the reception. Aqua-blue water goblets and lemon-and-leaf runners perfectly accentuated the views of Northport Bay, framed by the archways and gardens of the gorgeous Spanish revival mansion. In addition to each centerpiece, faux candles set the stage with a dreamy aura as the sun went down.
The excellent live band played all the right songs and had everyone up and out of their seats as soon as dinner ended. The evening came to a close with everyone happy, satisfied and full of love.
