A total eclipse of the heart! We traveled back in time to the 80's with this totally rad 40th birthday bash at Vandal Nightclub. We brought in all the 80's memorabilia from the fringe accents, neon colors, and even old school games. As guests walked in with their 80's inspired outfits, they were all encouraged to pose for a photo in front of our custom made backdrop that consisted of a "Made in the 80's" neon sign and colorful fringe surrounding it for a tubular effect. The space already had lounge furniture that we simply enhanced with colored and fringe pillows and cute 80s vignettes such as decade inspired color flowers, mini mac man and tetris, and polaroid cameras that guests could use throughout the party.
To complete this throwback of party we had the band, Rubix Kube, perform all of the favorites from the decade as they did costume changes coordinating to the artists' looks from back in the day. The celebration ended with a retro birthday cake and passed cookie favors for guests to enjoy on their way out or at home.
