Ding! Ding! Ding!

Max's second birthday was hot, like fire! We put together a beautiful fire truck themed party for him and his friends. Guests were welcomed with a custom designed welcome sign, and a cute little fire truck setup fit for a fun afternoon of fighting fake fires-- including, a vintage firetruck toy with working bell, hat, jacket, fire extinguisher, and lights. We also tossed in some food cans with firefighter themed labels and rain galoshes--things that were laying around at home, making them an easy and free added touch. Guests were directed to food, fun and favors with pun-filled designating signs! Everyone "filled up their tanks" at the food table--hard to miss with the adorable hand made flame banner hanging across the front. The spread included crudite cups, caprese bites, fruit cups, pizza rolls, chicken fingers, pasta salad, popcorn and cake pops. What a nice mix of goodies to snack on! Kids ate their lunches at tables with themed place mats and water bottles while wearing their very own fire hats. After lunch was served, guests were entertained by Bradley the balloon artist with True Entertainment, and bounced their troubles away on a bouncy castle. Before the festivities were over, everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to Max while he blew out the candles on his amazing fireman themed cake. It seemed like the perfect way to ring in a new year!
