Chase Your Dreams, girl! This gorgeous, summery bat mitzvah celebration was indeed a dream, for everyone who was there (humans and canines alike!), blanketed in blush pink, creamy white and shimmering gold.
The intimate ceremony took place on the oceanfront deck, overlooking pristine white sands and the deep blue of the Atlantic, where we set rows of spotless white chairs flanked by wooden benches that we decorated with pastel-colored pillows. Festivities then continued with the youngsters dancing away on the deck, and everyone enjoying a cocktail-style reception featuring an extensive array of small passed appetizers, bites and mini-meals—the pigs-in-a-blanket, chicken-and-waffles, steak-and-pommes-frites, lobster rolls, and panzanella salad were especially popular. The reception and cocktail hour took place on the beautiful patio by the pool, which we filled with festive white and pink floating balloons. All tables were covered with enchanting flower arrangements, and the bar, featuring a menu of custom drinks, was especially created—an acrylic mass that we filled with pink, cream and gold fringe.
To end the night with a proper sugary send-off, we displayed an old-fashioned candy and twinkies bar, which was just as sweet as the birthday girl.
